Requirements and specifications

  • supported Browsers: IE8, recent versions of Firefox and Chrome

  • PHP 5.3 (comes packed with the windows installer)
  • MediaWiki 1.17 and Semantic MediaWiki 1.7.1 (comes packed with the windows installer)
  • Java 1.6.x or Java 1.7.x (for SOLR full text and faceted search)

  • SOLR installation as Windows service did not work on Windows Server 2008.
  • WAT tool did not show server status properly even if SOLR was successfully installed as service (running/stopped).
